FACE II FACE BY FÉMUR & I HATE MODELS *

face ii face is an audio-visual performance created by fémur and i hate models (IHM) late 2022 and toured until late 2025. it incorporates ihm’s dj set, fémur’s live visuals on large screens with emil’s live camera operation.

as a camera operator, i filmed every minute of ihm’s performance, while sending my camera feed to fémur’s vjing resolume operator for him to mix this feed to his visuals in real time. we operateD as a creative triangle, without having to look at each other to know what we had to do. we acted according to the energy felt through our own medium.

To promote i hate models’ Forever Melancholia EP releasing amidst the Face II Face Tour, Emil realized 3 creative edits from the Istanbul show. AT the shows, Fémur was playing visuals from the EP, which he created.
